Site of the fire shows nothing remains
Please join me in prayer for a young woman who was a victim of a devastating fire.
Fire broke out on Tuesday evening May 17, 2011 in a backstreet area of the Kawangware slum in Nairobi totally consuming a block of slum dwellings. These dwellings were the home to a young mother named Phrackcides Andale. Her six year old son Trevor was killed in the fire. He was a gifted student who attended Love Academy where several of the Heart To Heart children attend.
Phrackcides mourns for Trevor
Phrackcides is almost 21 years old and has struggled for many years to take care of Trevor as a single mother. She is staying with the Headmistress of Love Academy until we can help her get resettled. As you can imagine, she is devastated and sees no hope for a life without Trevor. Please pray for her to be comforted by God and to be strengthened. I will continue to do home visits with others to encourage her and comfort her.
